Three years into the full invasion of Ukraine and its been a long winter. Its been a long war. Its important to remember what that word means. War is defined by Sun Tzu as a matter of life and death, and a vital concern for the state. The modern definition is far too flat and colorless in my opinion.
War, is people murdering each other. War, is the worst of human nature coming to the surface. War is exploitation, hunger, pain, misery, injury.. war is ugly.
Memes and community are fun. But when next to endless videos of people living their last moments on this earth, destruction and otherwise unfathomable nonsense with no end in sight, its easy for media fatigue to set in. In the arena of the information space and working daily to show support during a war on social media, this could be comparable to a form of battle fatigue. Never forget, when you are tired, learn to rest rather than quit.
Personally speaking, after 3 years of taking the fight to the enemy on social media daily, and going back to 2015 before that.. this winter has kicked my ass. General Winter is a cold hearted bastard but knock me down ten times, I'm going to stand up and keep fighting eleven.
So here is the game plan for Captain No Beard "The Crazy American Pirate" and Tactical Strike Media : Work continues! Do as I suggest not as I do, no rest for the wicked and all that jazz.
But if you are tired of the nonsense, again rest not quit. Rest, regroup, stockpile #NAFO memes, organize, plan and prepare. Then when you are feeling frosty again and ready for more.. get some. With us, work will continue though at a slightly diminished pace far as our public facing presence goes. But behind the scenes, we are getting ready for more.. more support, more #NAFOworks and endless rivers of ruzzian troll tears.

The enemy we face here, we may not be able to destroy.. but we can create resistance. We can make their efforts involving narrative warfare difficult. We can share the truth when they lie to justify the ongoing tragedy that is the war in Ukraine and we can report their TOS violating nonsense into oblivion!
